HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THIS TREATMENT?
Arrive at your appointment with a clean face. Avoid alcohol and blood thinning medications 24 hours before your treatment.
DOES IT HURT?
Receiving fillers can be uncomfortable but should not be too painful. Upon receiving lip filler a topical numbing cream is applied. Face filler is the initial entry point that can cause some discomfort comparable to a tiny pinch.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Swelling and bruising are normal outcomes post filler treatments and should subside 2 weeks post treatment. We recommend not massaging or manipulating the area for at least 24 hours post treatment.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Filler results are almost immediate. Although swelling and bruising may be present for 2 weeks post treatment up to 4 weeks post treatment before the filler has integrated with your natural tissues.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Depending what the desired result is 1-4 treatments may be needed. With maintenance treatments done 6-24 months.
HOW IS THE TREATMENT ADMINISTERED?
Filler can be administered through a fine point needle or done with a cannula guided through a pilot hole.
